چکیده

The lack of interoperability between information systems that support design and manufacturing is known as one of the major open issues in the field of Product Lifecycle Management. Especially, the BOM transfer between PDM and ERP suffers from a lack of consistent model that would enable a conservative propagation of updated information from one system to the other. This paper introduces a minimal model, based upon an ontological description, that aims at linking, in a consitent manner, design and manufacturing views. This model can be represented in a graphical way, using a cone topology to extend the semantics of the dependency links, leading to the so-called Cone-BOM model.

An Object-oriented Model for Complex Bills of Materials in Process Industries

In recent years, many process industries have been forced to drastically increase their product variety and adopt mass customization production strategies. Many of them have found that traditional bill of material (BOM) processing systems do not sufficiently support the maintenance of the very large amounts of data (concerned with product structure) demanded by these new production policies. Du...

Improvement of the Bill of Materials (bom) Generator for Product Variants

In short, a bill of materials (BOM) is a list of parts or components and quantities, which are required to manufacture a product. A BOM also describes the component structure of a product, usually as a hierarchical structure implemented within a relational database. Generally, to generate a BOM of a product that has no variant is a relatively simple process. On the other hand, there are problem...

Ideal of Lattice homomorphisms corresponding to the products of two arbitrary lattices and the lattice [2]

Abstract. Let L and M be two finite lattices. The ideal J(L,M) is a monomial ideal in a specific polynomial ring and whose minimal monomial generators correspond to lattice homomorphisms ϕ: L→M. This ideal is called the ideal of lattice homomorphism. In this paper, we study J(L,M) in the case that L is the product of two lattices L_1 and L_2 and M is the chain [2]. We first characterize the set...

Organization of Gatekeeping and Mental Framework in the System of Representation and Hierarchical Relational Structures of the Modern Society

Critical discourse analysis as a type of social practice reveals how linguistic choices enable speakers to manipulate the realizations of agency and power in the representation of action. The present study examines the relationship between language and ideology and explores how such a relationship is represented in the analysis of spoken text and to show how declarative knowledge, beliefs, attit...

A remark on asymptotic enumeration of highest weights in tensor powers of a representation

We consider the semigroup $S$ of highest weights appearing in tensor powers $V^{otimes k}$ of a finite dimensional representation $V$ of a connected reductive group. We describe the cone generated by $S$ as the cone over the weight polytope of $V$ intersected with the positive Weyl chamber. From this we get a description for the asymptotic of the number of highest weights appearing in $V^{otime...
